Schematics
provided on this compact disc are for active production models as of January
2001. For copies of older revisions or
obsolete units, please call 1-800-738-7563.
In
an effort to improve the use of this CD, a folder named SERIAL NUMBER - MODEL NUMBER has been created with a
cross-reference of serial number
prefixes and their corresponding model numbers.
Please note that this list includes prefixes of all units actually manufactured
by SLM Electronics. Units produced prior
to 1988 will not necessarily contain four digits. These units may contain only 1-3 specific digits
followed by a sequential serial number.
Units made January 1988 or later will consist of a 10 digit serial
number in the following format:
MMMMDDXXXX
“MMMM”
= Model Number Specific
“DD”
=
Manufacturing Date Code
“XXXX”
= Sequential Serial Number
The
folder named SCHEMATICS - PDF contains
a folder for each of our product lines, AMPEG
and CRATE / CRATE AUDIO. Inside each product line folder is a listing
of model numbers that were in production at the time the CD was created. Each model will contain one or more files of
the schematics for the boards used.
Please note that each file may contain multiple schematic pages.
Similarly,
the folder named ASSEMBLIES - PDF contains
a folder for each of our product lines, AMPEG
and CRATE / CRATE AUDIO. Inside each product line folder is a listing
of model numbers that were in production at the time the CD was created. Each
model will contain one or more files of the circuit board assemblies and their
corresponding part lists. Please note
that each file may contain multiple pages for the assemblies as well as the
parts lists.
The
folder named CSB – Customer
Similarly,
the folder named TIB – Technical
Information Bulletins contains a folder for each unit for which a TIB was
issued. The TIB contains a list of
serial numbers which were affected, the concern, and what the corrective action
is.
